We are pleased to welcome our guests to one of the most beautiful locations in the world with a magnificent view of the Eiger and the surrounding Bernese Alps. The lodge is situated above the village of Grindelwald with 4000 square meters of garden and 1000 square meters of newly renovated accommodations. These 2 elements combined with a vintage barn, an antique fountain and a prominent 70-year-old tree deliver a Kraftort – a place for tranquility, recharging, being together and joining with nature.
The Eiger View Alpine Lodge offers 4 generous hotel rooms with en suite bathroom, 6 rooms with shared bathrooms and 3 studios each with a separate bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a living area. Most rooms have direct access to the surrounding terrace with a view of the mountains. While there is no restaurant, breakfast is provided upon request. The large kitchen can also be reserved for cooking your own group meals or for hired external caterers. The concept of the lodge aims to serve large family vacations as well as company retreats and sport, cultural or social groups. It is easy to access with public transportation or by car with some parking available.

Hiking
Around Grindelwald you will find 300km of hiking trails. The high-altitude hike from Grindelwald-First - Bachalpsee - Faulhorn - Schynige Platte is one of the most beautiful tours in the region.
Biking
On the bike paths, the freeride track in Lauterbrunnen, the varied tours, and of course on the mountain passes, you can really pedal hard.
Adventure
Experience pure adrenaline on the "First Glider Flying", "Scooter", "Mountain Cart", "Paragliding".
Needless to say, numerous other summer sport activities or excursions are possible in Grindelwald
The Eiger View Alpine Lodge is the perfect starting point for all winter activities. Whether you want to ski or snowboard down the slopes, or prefer snowshoe hiking and cross-country skiing, our lodge offers the ideal starting point for your adventures.
Skiing
From our lodge, you can easily reach the First or Jungfrau-Männlichen ski areas by bus and modern cable cars. You can enjoy 160 kilometers of slopes with about 30 lifts up to 2500 meters.
Hiking and Sledging
80 kilometers of winter hiking trails with a view of seven 4000 meter peaks and majestic glaciers to choose from. In addition, 60km of prepared toboggan runs to sled down. The longest toboggan run in the Alps measuring 15 kilometers, from Faulhorn over Bussalp to Grindelwald, ends up right at our doorstep.

The Eiger View Alpine Lodge is situated high above Grindelwald yet centrally located. You can easily reach us by car, train or bus.
By Car
Take the highway towards Bern, then towards Spiez, from there via Interlaken to Grindelwald. Just before the train station, turn left onto Spillstattstrasse, towards Terrassenweg and follow the sign "Eiger View Alpine Lodge".
Zurich: 195 km. Geneva: 205 km. Basel: 175 km. Bern: 70 km
You can drive up to the Lodge and unload your luggage there. There are parking spaces available that you can rent for a fee (CHF 15.-/night).
By Train
Express trains run to Interlaken. From Interlaken, you can reach Grindelwald in 35 minutes by taking the Berner Oberland Railway. Bus number 122 towards Klusi will take you to our Lodge from the "Gaggi Säge" bus stop. The local bus is free of charge for our guests.
